Eyereturn launches new programmatic marketplace

Canadian Premium Access offers CBC, Bell Media and Quebecor inventory

Eyereturn Marketing has announced a series of partnerships with media providers in the creation of Canadian Premium Access, its new programmatic marketplace.

The Toronto-based Eyereturn is offering “first look access to secure private marketplaces” thanks to deals with CBC/Radio-Canada, Bell Media and Quebecor.

Eyereturn is known primarily for its buy-side platform and analytics products. It has been a major contributor to CPAX and other exchanges.

“As one of the few ad tech companies based in Canada, it is important to create Canadian specific initiatives that bring value to our clients and publishers,” said Renee Hill, Eyereturn’s president and CEO. “We are thrilled to have three of Canada’s top national publishers participating in this unique first look opportunity.”

“As Canada’s national public broadcaster, CBC/Radio-Canada has a high-value offering of premium inventory,” said Jeff MacPherson, director of monetization platform and services at CBC, in a release. “By prioritizing our private marketplace at the top of our monetization stack, and offering first look to Eyereturn among our other partners, we allow our trusted clients unprecedented access to our Canadian audience and national scale.

“Eyereturn’s focus of brand safety from both an advertiser and publisher perspective and recognition of the importance of controlled access through the right partners is a key component in bringing our strategic initiatives to market,” he said.
