Ironark developed the mobile apps Workbase and Hub, organizers and scheduling managers for work and home, respectively.

These new apps will join Influitive’s existing offering built around AdvocateHub, a advocacy marketing solution that builds “communities” of customers, employees and partners around a company “to complete ‘challenges’ like referrals, reference calls [and] product reviews.”

“Influitive’s aggressive growth plan and roadmap to create the advocate marketing category is incredibly ambitious and exciting. We are thrilled to be joining the team and look forward to continuing to innovate,” said Jonathan James, Ironark’s co-founder, in a statement.

The acquisition announcement lands as Influitive announces $8.2 million in new funding from a group of investors, including Leaders Fund and Export Development Canada (EDC), and several previous investing partners.

“This additional investment strengthens an already deep bench of investors backing Influitive” said Mark Organ, Influitive’s CEO and Founder, in a statement. “The acquisition of Ironark brings strong talent to Influitive who align with our focus on community building and exceptional mobile experiences for our customers.”
