American cable provider Cablevision has tapped Toronto-based cloud platform Yangaroo to power ad delivery across its cable systems in the New York City region.
The partnership is meant to give Cablevision advertisers an easier and faster way to upload ad content for delivery to Cablevision-affiliated properties like the New York Interconnect and News 12.
In a release, Sean Nelson, a senior media planner for New York-based Allscope Media, praised the Yangaroo cloud platform for its intuitive interface. “I highly recommend them as a fast and easy spot transfer service,” he said.
Founded in 1999, Yangaroo provides a secure cloud-based platform for digital media management and distribution. It’s designed to automate much of the process involved in delivering ad content, and is connected to a distribution network of 11,000 television, radio and retailer media sources.
The company recently opened an office in New York, which will be responsible for integrating with Cablevision and its clients.
