Clients of Montreal-based video platform SourceKnowledge can now use its RTB algorithms to buy Google DoubleClick video inventory, including YouTube pre-roll ads, thanks to a supply partnership announced this week.
“The main goal for this integration was to allow advertisers to leverage SourceKnowledge’s powerful Smart Bidder RTB technology when making programmatic buys on YouTube and other DoubleClick properties,” said Justin Adler, marketing and product manager.
“YouTube is a fantastic platform that is a major part of so many advertisers’ marketing programs, and we’re thrilled about that aspect of the integration.”
Competing with programmatic video platforms like TubeMogul and Brightroll, SourceKnowledge offers both in-house programmatic buying services and a self-service platform for leaner independent agencies looking for large scale at low rates. With offices in Montreal and Vancouver, it lists brands like RBC, Iogo and Toyota as clients.
The company recently launched a new suite of ad quality tools to help prevent bot fraud and poor viewability, something that Adler said has become a big focus for the company, as it has throughout the industry.
