Holmes joins the mobile-focused technology company following a long and successful tenure at ZenithOptimedia, where she led development of clients’ digital business strategies, as well as ZenithOptimedia’s digital buying and ad operations. During her time there she was responsible for launching Performics, the Canadian arm of Publicis’ search and performance marketing agency.

In her new role, Holmes will be responsible for Juice’s overall business strategy and development within Canada. She will report to president and CEO Neil Sweeney, who continues to oversee the company’s aggressive expansion into the U.S.

“Veronica’s vast experience and high-level industry relationships will help Juice Mobile’s ongoing mission to deliver connected solutions that encompass the best in technology and brands,” said Sweeney, in a release. “Holmes’ appointment brings a tremendous boost to our leadership in Canada and emphasizes the exponential rate at which Juice Mobile continues to grow.”

Prior to her time at ZenithOptimedia, Holmes was with Bell Media for 15 years, where she built and managed all content for the Sympatico.ca portal. She has also been a member of the IAB Canada board of directors since 2009.

Juice Mobile, founded in 2010, provides technology for buying, selling and targeting mobile ads to major media buying agencies, as well as 1,500 publishers globally. Juice was one of six companies shortlisted for Marketing‘s inaugural Tech Player of the Year shortlist. You can read more about their successes in their profile.
