Digital marketing consulting network WSI has adopted Centro as its global programmatic provider across all major digital media channels.
Headquartered in Toronto, WSI’s consultants offer digital marketing services to local businesses in 80 markets. Centro’s programmatic platform and in-house media buying services will add data-targeted media to the list of services WSI can offer its clients, along with SEM, email, social and web design.
“We’ve established this partnership with Centro because it offers robust real-time ad-buying technology along with a full-service team to help our consultants adopt programmatic advertising for their clients,” said Mark Dobson, co-founder and CEO of WSI, in a statement. “With more and more marketers expressing interest in programmatic advertising, having seamless tools to reach customers on every major digital channel helps our consultant network differentiate in their respective local markets.”
Centro, an ad tech and media company based in Chicago, launched a programmatic demand-side platform earlier this year that’s built specifically for small business direct marketers and independent agencies.
It incorporates some of the technology developed by Centro’s Canadian subsidiary SiteScout, and promises features like an intuitive and easy-to-learn interface, hyperlocal targeting capabilities through Centro’s extensive local media network, and a high-touch customer success team to support direct marketers that want to use the platform in-house.
