Two senior executives have left Rogers Publishing according to a message sent to employees Monday afternoon.
Kathryn Brownlie, senior vice-president of sales, consumer publishing, and Kerry Mitchell, vice-president, consumer publishing, “are no longer with Rogers Publishing,” said Ken Whyte, president of Rogers Publishing, in the e-mail. The changes come “as a result of structural changes we are making to the company.”
Brownlie oversaw sales for all of Rogers’ top consumer magazines. Mitchell leaves as publisher of several high-profile publications, including Flare and Today’s Parent. Both had been with the company for more than nine years.
Lorraine Hoefler, currently senior group advertising director for Rogers Media, will take over ad sales for the group “for the time being.”
Marketing is owned by Rogers Publishing.
