The Bell-owned CTV has scrapped the sitcoms Hiccups and Dan for Mayor, as well as the reality competition So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

A spokesman confirmed Tuesday that the network has not ordered new seasons of the three shows.

Hiccups was the brainchild of Corner Gas creator Brent Butt and starred his wife, Nancy Robertson, as a wacky children’s author.

Another Corner Gas alum, Fred Ewanuick, was behind Dan for Mayor, about a slacker who winds up in office.

Dance Canada wrapped its fourth season earlier this week, crowning contemporary dancer Jordan Clark the new champ.

A spokesman said the latest season was the least-watched yet, with ratings down 31% from the show’s inaugural year.
