NKPR announced two new client wins. The firm, which has offices in Toronto and New York, will handle the launch and communications program for the Love Art Toronto fair. The event, which will take place in May, is the first Canadian edition of the global Affordable Art Fair, which launched in 1999. The fair’s mandate is to take the fear and intimidation out of buying art.

NKPR also won PR duties for Liu Jo, an Italian luxury fashion label that is expanding into North America this fall. The brand, which collaborates with British supermodel Kate Moss, has more than 280 standalone boutiques and distribution in 75 countries.

Liu Jo’s brand partner Zarby International will work with NKPR to implement its Canadian public relations and social media strategies, including media relations, event activation, strategic counsel and influencer relations/partnerships.

“Liu Jo is an all-encompassing lifestyle brand that will elevate the contemporary fashion category in Canada with its refined Italian style and premium designs,” said NKPR president, Natasha Koifman, in a release. “Our customized, tactical approach and unique experience building luxury fashion brands in Canada makes our agency a fit partner to support Liu Jo’s expansion, from generating brand awareness to providing counsel on strategic retail alignments.”

This spring, Canadians will have the opportunity to connect with Liu Jo online when the brand unveils a multi-tiered social media campaign to excite consumers leading up to the retail launch.
The brand’s national retailers will be announced at a later date.
