Kia Canada appointed PATRICK SAINT-PIERRE as its new public relations manager. Saint-Pierre has 15 years of experience within the automotive industry, and was most recently business development manager for Volkswagen of America. He also worked as public relations manager for Volkswagen Canada between 2006-2008.

CATHERINE CANO joins National Public Relations as managing partner of its Toronto office, effective June 6. Cano has held management positions at CBC News, SRC (Radio-Canada), RDI and Al Jazeera English (AJE).

Caber Sure Fit Inc. hired CHRISTINE UFNIAK as its vice-president marketing and innovation. Ufniak, who was most recently a senior account director with Watt International, has spent time on both the client and agency side having worked for Kraft Canada and MacLaren McCann.

Adconion Media Group added six new members to its team in Toronto. PHILIPPE KLEIM joins as senior ad ops manager, responsible for developing and managing Canadian ad operations. JORDAN BROOKS joins as media account executive, responsible for inventory management and partnership development. KEITH WONG joins as senior media account manager, providing media planning, strategy and product marketing support. JENNIFER TENNISCO joins as associate delivery manager. JAMES HUYLER joins as sales manager for Montreal and Toronto, responsible for Adconion Media Group, as well as its online TV service Joost. KRISTEN SPRATT joins as an account executive for Western Canada and Toronto, managing sales, also for Joost and Adconion Media Group.

Environics hired GREG MACEACHERN as vice-president of its government relations practice in Ottawa. MacEachern brings over a decade of experience having served on Summa Strategies Canada’s government relations counsel. He has also held a number of positions in the public sector including: executive assistant to former MP Belinda Stronach, and intergovernmental affairs coordinator for the Office of the Mayor in Halifax Regional Municipality.

Shaw Media added five national account executives to its new digital sales team, effective June 1. They include: JENNIFER BLANEY, ROBERT DEVEREUX, BRYAN PRESS, JULIA SPINA, KIERA YEATES.
