Rethink took home nine awards including Best of Show for “Clickchange” for client Lavalife Online Dating, which also won for best TV single at the Lotus Awards in Vancouver on Nov. 9. Rethink won for a diverse list of clients including the Alzheimer’s society of BC (best public service broadcast single), Metro News (best outdoor), and BCAA (best radio single).

DDB Canada tied with Rethink winning nine awards for clients that included Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland, VW and the Eatery.

Dare took home six awards, while sister agency Cossette won four including Advertiser of the Year for a brand awareness campaign for Royal Roads University called “Traits we admire,” and Best Media Collaboration for McDonald’s “Wake up and smell the free” outdoor campaign.

Spring Advertising also had a solid showing with six Lotus Awards for clients Tourism Burnaby, Beatbox Academy, John Casablancas Institute, and the Great Vancouver Food Bank Society.

Other winners included Blast Radius with three awards, Taxi, St. Bernadine Mission Communications, kommunity, and Silent Joe took home one award each and Jessica Liew and Kira Campbell won the student award for “Shoe Tray.”

Now in its 23rd year, the Lotus Awards was held at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
