In his five years with the company, Staffieri has held a variety of positions including advertising and incentives manager, national sales manager and most recently national customer retention manager.

He established Kia’s certified pre-owned and member rewards programs, and also had a hand in developing the car company’s “Drive Change” campaign and platform that launched in July 2010.

“Robert has been instrumental in impacting Kia Canada’s growth over the last five years,” said Maria Soklis vice-president and chief operating officer (COO) Kia Canada Inc., in a release. “Robert is well poised to lead Kia Canada in his areas of responsibility into the next wave of significant growth here in Canada.”

Prior to Kia, Staffieri spent over 12 years with Mercedes Benz in various finance, sales and marketing positions.
