Printology,  a commercial printing company that dates back to 1987, has stepped up its production workflow with the installation of the latest Fujifilm XMF automated workflow system.

The XMF workflow is based on the Adobe PDF Print Engine for direct PDF processing, offering faster processing and a streamlined and intelligent method for moving digital files through the production system.

The new automation can improve efficiency and productivity at the printing company by removing touch points and therefore eliminating the potential for introducing errors.

The PDF workflow system also offers a high level of preflight accuracy and an advanced level of control.

Printology Inc., based in Richmond Hill, was formerly known as Carlton Taylor Graphics and operates a number of sheetfed offset presses including an eight-colour perfecting Heidelberg and a four-colour manroland press, along with digital printing, binding and finishing operations.
