Building on the momentum of a successful event last year, Virginia-based InterQuest is once again bringing its Digital Printing Forum to Toronto, holding the day-long event at Ryerson University’s Heidelberg Centre.
The event will run on Wednesday, May 11th from 9 am to 5 pm. The full-day Digital Printing Forum is divided into two streams: the morning focused on direct mail and multi-channel marketing communications, while the afternoon targets digital book and manual printing. Full-day or half-day registration options are available.
Well received last year, the day-long Forum builds off of recent InterQuest market research studies. Both the morning and afternoon sessions will launch into the latest findings followed by case studies delivered by companies that are trend leaders in these categories.
The morning seminar will focus on the synergies between printed and electronic communications. Other key topics will include trends in personalized marketing communications and the convergence of direct mail and transactional printing applications. The target audience for the sessions includes transactional printing service bureaus, direct mail printers, commercial printers, digital print providers, marketing/communication firms and advertising agencies.
The afternoon portion of the event–dedicated to digital book and manual printing—will showcase industry players discussing market trends and applications along with opportunities and challenges. The afternoon will also include publishers sharing their experiences with digital printing and perspectives on the future of printed books, eBooks and electronic content.
This afternoon session should attract a large audience of book publishers, book manufacturers/printers, commercial printers and book distributors among others.
The Digital Printing Forum also includes a tabletop display area featuring event sponsors, which includes: Canada Post, Canon, Cascades, Fujifilm, GMC, HP, KBR Graphics, Kodak, Quad Graphics, Ricoh, Riso and Webcom. The Forum is also supported by the Canadian Book Professionals Association (CanBPA) , the Direct Marketing Association of Toronto and Xplor Canada’s Central Chapter.
Registration for the full day is $280. For the morning session only the cost is $185 and afternoon only is $175 (lunch and snack times included).
