Established in Edmonton dating back to 1902, Douglas Printing has cultivated a tradition of service and quality across Western Canada.

Since being purchased from the Douglas family in 2005 by Ian Burke the company has replaced its entire printing fleet and has expanded services in printing, signage, digital and direct mail to become one of the largest and most versatile printers in Western Canada.

With its broad portfolio of services Douglas Printing has evolved beyond a printer to a full service solution provider for its clients.

Decreasing timelines along with an increased demand for variable data printing capabilities led to the new HP Indigo 5500 Digital Press installation, which went in last November.

“Not until the HP Indigo 5500 Digital Press was installed did we fully realize the power of its efficiency and production throughput,” said Dan Matthys, manager – business development, Douglas Printing in a release. “We’re now able to efficiently produce products for customers that need that high-quality look and feel in very responsive timelines.”
