The newest addition to Drytac’s line of UV curable liquid coaters is the small format VersaCoater DocuMate Plus 20-inch with built-in IR.
The IR dryer is designed to handle highly polymerized, wax infused toner/ink technologies.
With a 3-1/2 x 4-foot dimension, the user-friendly DocuMate Plus is well suited for small format shops looking to bring a UV coating device in-house.
The DocuMate Plus is capable of coating documents and photos up to 20 inches wide, and it can handle stocks (photographic, litho or digitally printed) up to120-lb. cover weight without adjusting the roller nip.
The compact design includes three supply tanks and pumps that allowing quick coating changes with minimal mess. An optional high-speed feeder and print vibrator/jogger are available.
Typical applications for UV coatings include printed brochures, book covers, business cards, calendars, event tickets, post cards, direct mail, etc.
