The Haliburton County Echo has reported that Parker Pad and Printing of Markham, Ontario (a 50-person commercial printing business) has expanded its reach to the cottage country of Haliburton, Ontario with the acquisition of County Commercial Printers, a small shop that has been owned by Wendy Gunning since 1988.

Janis Parker, owner of Parker Pad and Printing (a company started by her grandfather, Frank Parker Sr., in 1946), has been a cottager in the Haliburton area for years and is involved in the local community.
County Commercial Printers will be re-named Parker Pad & Printing.
