Presstek will use PRINT 09 (Chicago, Sept. 11-16) to introduce a new version of its 20-inch landscape 52DI direct imaging offset press featuring integrated aqueous coating.
The 52DI-AC, supporting both flood and spot coating, provides a quick drying alternative to the DI press, enhancing its ability to meet the needs of short-run fast turnaround print.
The new 52DI-AC will begin shipping in 2010.
The integrated aqueous coater follows on the introduction of the inline UV coating option available on Presstek’s DI presses that was announced last year.
