Adding technology to keep broadening its customer offering has been a regular trait of Custom Printers in Renfew, Ont., and the trend continues with the recent installation of the company’s Agfa Anapurna M4f wide format flatbed digital inkjet UV printer with a roll-to-roll option.
Custom Printers is a full-service outfit with a line-up of offset presses as well as digital colour printing. The new Anapurna now allows the company to print with 720 x 1440 dpi quality on a wide range of substrates over five feet wide.
The new solution takes Custom Printers beyond general commercial printing of books, magazines and brochures and into outdoor and indoor display advertising and sophisticated point-of-purchase displays for clients far and near.
