Prime Imaging of Toronto has redesigned its logo and added to its production capability with the installation of an HP Scitex FB 700 flatbed inkjet wide format printer.

The FSC-certified company, currently in its 28th year, specializes in digital large format and on demand printing while offering a full range of commercial print services.

Prime initiated its re-branding efforts last year and has now launched its new logo, featuring a dimensional, stylized “P”, and refreshed its website to reflect its broad array of capabilities.

“This is an exciting period in Prime’s history,” said Scott Currie, owner and president of Prime Imaging in a company release (pictured right with the new printer).

“We are seeing some promising signs from our customers that indicate to us that 2011 will see a move towards pre-recession levels of print expenditures. As a result we have decided that the time is now to not only invest in new equipment but also to breath new life into our brand, logo and marketing presence.”

The addition of the HP Scitex FB700 digital printer, equipped with roll-to-roll and white ink upgrade kits, increases the company’s output capacity and enhances its ability to print on virtually any rigid or flexible media with high image quality suitable for outdoor and indoor display applications including retail graphics, point-of-purchase displays and tradeshow graphics.
