North Vancouver’s True Colours Graphic Reproduction, a company that recently merged services with local wide format graphics shop Dyna Graphics, has also added a new Fujifilm Acuity Advance flatbed UV printer to its printing line-up.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, True Colours started out as a high-quality colour separations specialist, gradually evolving into film output and proofing, and the shop has now become a full-service print and display graphics company as well.

“True Colours has built its reputation on providing exceptional quality, and this new unit now allows us to provide direct to substrate print output that meets our exacting standards,” said Carl May, president of True Colours in a release announcing the installation.

The new Acuity Advance, installed last November, can print directly onto rigid sheets up to 4 x 8 feet and almost two inches thick. It also features a roll-to-roll option for media up to 86.5 inches wide. The Acuity prints in colour and also has white ink printing capability for printing on clear substrates.

As it has evolved over the years, True Colours now specializes in producing many types of digital printing including signage and displays for sales centres, conventions, tradeshows, shopping malls, museums and exhibitions.
