Style Print Inc. in Markham, Ont. has added new sign-printing functionality with the installation of an Agfa Anapurna M4f flatbed digital inkjet printer.

Designed for printing indoor and outdoor signage, the high-resolution UV inkjet technology can be used for what the manufacturer calls photorealistic quality, allowing users to print large displays that are viewed up close, like point-of-purchase graphics.

The rapid curing of the ultra violet (UV) inks also allows the printer to work with a wide variety of uncoated rigid media, such as corrugated board or rigid plastics.

The machine installed at Style Print includes an optional roll-to-roll feeder, allowing the company to print on various roll media including films, vinyl, paper or canvas.
